Canadian Colour: How colourizing family photos turned into colourizing Canadian history

For Mark Truelove, his hobby of colourization of black and white photos started with wanting to see family photos in colour. Then when he ran out of family photos, a desire to do the same with Canadian historical photos from different archives across the country.

Now the web designer and developer has launched a website that lets people see the result of those efforts. Work that sometimes can take anywhere from one hour to ten or more per photo.

RCI’s Wojtek Gwiazda talked to Mark Truelove about his website Canadian Colour and his passion for colourization.
